Announcements

AFHS has partnered with College Goal Wisconsin to bring free expert assistance to Wisconsin's college-bound students who need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This event is open to surrounding area residents who will be attending a post-secondary institution during the 2019-2020 school year. The event will be held October 3rd, 2018 and will begin promptly at 6:00. The student for which the FAFSA is completed has the opportunity to be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.

Please remember from registration-----Student course selections are final; therefore, students should not have signed up for a class with the notion that they can always drop it later. This year, courses will only be dropped if the following criteria are met: 1. A school error was made on the schedule. 2. A student fails a prerequisite course and is not eligible for a class. 3. Graduation is in jeopardy. 4. Teacher recommendation and administrative approval

Are you 18?

If you are male, you must register with the Selective Service. You must do this within a month of your 18th birthday. This is federal law and failure to do so may result in prosecution. You may also be denied student loans, job training, government jobs, government assistance, and driver’s licenses in most states. You may register online at www.sss.gov or you may pick up a Selective Service Registration Card at the local post office.
